Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn là gì?

Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn trong tiếng Anh diễn tả một hành động đang diễn ra ở hiện tại, một dự định / kế hoạch sẽ diễn ra.

Các trường hợp sử dụng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn:

• Diễn tả hành động đang xảy ra và có thể tiếp tục tiếp diễn tới tương lai.
• Diễn tả dự định, kế hoạch tương lai đã định trước.

Như vậy, 2 từ khóa để ta nhớ khái niệm thì hiện tại tiếp diễn trong tiếng Anh đó là: đang xảy ra ở hiện tại, dự định.

Công thức thì hiện tại tiếp diễn

Động từ trong câu ở thì hiện tại tiếp diễn có dạng be + V-ing

Công thức câu khẳng định thì hiện tại tiếp diễn

Chủ từ	be + V-ing
I	am + V-ing
You / We / They / Danh từ số nhiều	are + V-ing
He / She / It / Danh từ số ít	is + V-ing

Ví dụ:

• I'm just leaving work. I'll be home in an hour. / Tôi đang rời công việc. Tôi sẽ về nhà trong một giờ nữa.
• Please be quiet. The children are sleeping. / Hãy im lặng. Tụi trẻ đang ngủ.
• Mary is going to a new school next term. / Mary sẽ/dự định đi đến trường mới ở học kỳ kế.
• What are you doing  next week? / Bạn sẽ/dự định làm gì tuần tới?

Công thức câu phủ định thì hiện tại tiếp diễn

Ta thêm not sau động từ to be.

Chủ từ	be + not + V-ing
I	am + not + V-ing / I'm not V-ing
You / We / They / Danh từ số nhiều	are + not + V-ing / aren't + V-ing
He / She / It / Danh từ số ít	is + not + V-ing / isn't + V-ing

Ví dụ:

• The kids are not watching TV now. / Hiện giờ, bọn trẻ đang không xem truyền hình.
• He is not playing badminton at the moment. / Cậu ấy đang chơi đánh cầu lông vào lúc này.
• The POYUEN workers are not working at the present. / Hiện giờ, các công nhân cty POYUEN đang không làm việc.

Ví dụ:
